So much to do, so little time

So as many of you know I decided to start the process of getting my MBA this past fall. After lots of debating and the extreme anxiety of the GMAT (including actually paying the money to take it) I finally took the plunge. I give about 99% of the credit to my friend Sarah, for all her encouragement, or harrassment, to finally take the test and apply. I am SO happy I finally did it. At that time I needed something to keep me busy and a new focus in life. As many of my college friends know, school work and studying weren't my favorite activities in undergrad, so I knew this would be an adventure. Now that I'm into my second semester, I'm still glad I'm doing it. So what I'm saying is, Sarah's safe for now. I must admit that it's hard for me to make the time for homework and I feel like I'm always missing something fun when I'm in class. Between work, school, trying to have a social life, being an advisor to my sorority, and keeping up with everything in my family and friends' lives I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. Luckily I work with just about all my friends here, so I get to do a little socializing at work everyday. I'm hoping this blog will help with the keeping in touch aspect, because I know my family and friends are just dying to know what I'm up to. Here's a hint: work, school, homework.

  2. You are so much more than JUST a Southern girl, although being girl from the South is a key component to who you are! (you do have the pearls) Can't wait to read what else you have to say.
