I'll cheers to that...

The story of the title of this blog still makes me laugh, and I’m hoping it’s not one of those “oh, you had to be there” stories, but it very well could be. Back in December my friend Kim and I were lucky enough to attend a friend’s wedding in Cancun. It was the best trip I’ve had in years, and was one of the best weddings I’ve ever been to. Days of doing nothing but drinking, hanging with my girls, eating lots and laying out all day, wandering around the resort singing patriotic songs and falling off swings at the bar. All while pretty much confirming every other guest’s thoughts that we were the most obnoxious group staying there. We had nice dinners planned for us at the resort every night, which kind of makes this story ridiculous. Kim and I weren’t ever sure if we were going to like the food at dinner, so we felt it necessary to order room service before we went to these dinners. You know that after drinks on the beach all day most things are entertaining, especially stupidity. We had mini Corona bottles in the mini fridge and when the food arrived the mini bottles of ketchup and mustard were accompanied by a mini vase of flowers for a centerpiece. Quite the romantic dinner for two. For some reason we thought it was hilarious and decided to cheers to all the tiny things in life – beers, flowers, and condiments…… Guess you had to be there?
