Wangria

In keeping with my longing for the beach I want to introduce you all to an amazing drink. My friend Erica enlightened me a couple of months ago with this little treat - Walmart Sangria. Obviously called Walmart Sangria because all the ingredients are available at the Mart. My friend Sarah nicknamed it Wangria, and that's just so much easier to say. Two syllables really make a big difference. I want to make a couple of batches to take to the beach this weekend and enjoy while on the beach/deck.

Directions:

Go to Walmart and purchase the cheapest wine you can find, a bag of frozen fruit and just about any soda will do. Erica told me Fresca or Diet Squirt, which my Walmart didn't have. No worries, Wink or Cranberry Ginger Ale will work. Has anyone ever heard of Wink?

Mix equal parts wine and soda and throw in some fruit. Drink and enjoy, and cheers to Wangria.

The most expensive ingredient in the pic is the frozen fruit. Oak Leaf wine = $2.97 a bottle. No joke.
