Pretty awesome

I've found a new website that has quickly become one of my favorites. Maybe it's because I'm weird and can absolutely relate to many of the posts on this site/blog. The website is 1000awesomethings.com and it's great. Some of these posts seem like something I would have written, if only I were a little more creative. Or maybe everyone thinks about these things and this guy was smart enough and funny enough to start making money off of it.

Here are a few of my favorite posts, but there are so many great ones it's hard to narrow it down.

#521 - Calling a mulligan on the day.

This is a perfect description of what many of us want to do often. It's also a perfect description of my college career. Get up, wander into my roommate's room and decide I'm just not quite ready to start my day. So it was either back to bed, or I'd just fall asleep in her room. Ahhh, those were the days. ps. the baby picture posted with 521 is glorious.

#540 - TV treasure chest.

Again, a great description of something we all love. This actually happened to me this weekend. As I was flipping through the low channels on my tv I came across old Hills reruns on the CW. Normally I would think of the CW as a location for Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill reruns, but I was pleasantly surprised to see my girls LC and Lo discussing Audrina and Justin Bobby's relationship.

#976 - Flossing.

It's no surprise to any of you I'm sure. My love for flossing has been common knowledge for years. Never leave home without it.

#774 - Discovering those little tabs on the side of the aluminum foil box.

This is actually not a problem I have, but this post is so funny to me. I have no clue who this man is, but he makes me laugh out loud. I'm a nerd, I know.
