I kind of, a little bit, got scolded by my college roommate today for not blogging enough. I just feel so boring lately, which I guess isn't all that true. Last weekend I spent the weekend in Virginia. On Saturday morning I woke up to the sound of cows mooing, in the middle of no where on a farm. It was pretty amazing. Saturday I went to see my mom and brother and hung out around Christiansburg/ Blacksburg. We had tickets to the Duke vs. VT game on Saturday. Yeah, that one didn't really turn out as we'd hoped, but it was still a fun game. I've never been at a game where the court was rushed. That was interesting.
I really don't understand the point of rushing the court. What do you do when you realize you've just been jumping up and down on a basketball court, hugging complete strangers, and then you're just standing there wondering what to do next? I don't get it.
So that was my weekend. My week has been pretty great so far too. Lots of hanging out, a little school work, lots of rescheduling a birthday dinner for my friend Allison, and tomorrow's Friday. Sounds great to me. I have class tomorrow night in Greensboro and will be going out afterwards for a little Asia reunion. I miss those crazy kids from the trip and I'm excited for a night out with them all.
This might be one reason work wasn't so bad this week. Just kidding. Pretty funny looking with wine and glasses hanging out on my file cabinet.
