So apparently there were bad storms here last night, and we were under a tornado warning. Hmm I had no clue. Nothing woke me up. But I did receive an email stating that we were under a tornado warning. Unfortunately I wasn't checking my email at 3:15am, so that didn't help me. I'm thinking maybe I should own one of these?
A weather radio. What a concept. I'm just so use to my dad looking out for us that I've never worried about storms. After living in my apartment for 3 years and seeing the craftsmanship used to build them, I should probably take cover if there are bad storms around me. Hmm just a thought.
If you're like me, you'll just turn the weather radio off because you're tired of the alarms waking you up:) Allen, after traveling for a year, just discovered that ours has been disabled for an unknown amount of time. Dude, who wants to be woken up 999 times per night by BEEP, BEEP, BEEP. And don't get me started on the risk of waking up the boys. Please!!! So my 2 cents, by a radio that can be programmed for your county and/or the ones directly around you. it's not like you exactly need the weather in Boone or Durham.
