The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays, because fireworks are one of my absolute favorite things in the world. Here is my one complaint (it's a big one): I'm not seeing any fireworks this year. Busssst. But I did get to spend the long weekend with my family at the beach, so that's a big plus.
So I'm going to enjoy a night at home, get some stuff done around here, be happy that I think I've made great progress in getting rid of tan lines before P's wedding, and watch the NYC fireworks tonight. And say a thankful prayer for all our troops for keeping us free and save, and pray for their safe return home!
In other news, sorry my nephew is cuter than you.
