We got around to it

This past weekend we finally celebrated my little brother's birthday. A nice little family dinner out on Friday night followed by a little shopping. I really really love my family and I'm so thankful for them and being so close by. Being with my parents and both of my brothers Friday night was just so fun. They're hilarious to me, with their little comments under their breath (and not under their breath too).

Saturday was spent at the lake with the parents and my youngest brother, while the birthday boy went to the Rascal Flatts concert. Jealous. The lake was awesome. I could definitely get use to that lifestyle. My dad drove the boat like a maniac, we tried to find as many cold spots as we could, and I got my first lesson in driving a jet ski. Can't really complain about a day like that on the lake.

When I got to my parents' house on Friday night this little guy welcomed me home.

These catfish live around the dock and love to eat chicken bones. They're actually jerks because they always steal the bones from the little fish.

And this is the life I could get use to. Fo sho.
