February 28th was my parents' 31st wedding anniversary. 31 YEARS YOU GUYS! I can't imagine. And I'll probably have to live to like 104 to make it to 31 years. So congratulations to my parents! For their anniversary I celebrated with my dad (only because Mom's in VA) by going to the Duke v. Wake game with him and 2 of his friends. We grabbed dinner and a beer prior to the game. No big deal.
The game was fun, I'd say our seats weren't too bad, and I'd call the night a success.
The weekend after that I headed out of town for a friend's birthday weekend. The big 3-0. Drinks and snacks at the house Friday night before heading out for dinner. And more drinks.
Then a little pregame on Saturday with lots of snacks and wine before we went out for the night. I ate so much good, southern food that weekend. BBQ dinner Friday night, Farmers Market breakfast on Saturday, and then Biscuitville grits and more BBQ with my dad on Sunday. Such an awesome weekend (despite walking what had to have been a mile in a light rain Saturday night trying to get home). I miss those ladies already!
