So I'll be the first to admit that I waste a lot of money on food that I end up throwing away. Point in case - I just threw out at least a pound of hamburger because I left it in my fridge too long. Rarrrr that makes me mad. I'm also pretty sure I still have food in my cabinets from 2010. That should probably go soon too.
With that said, I'm really going to try to eat all of the food (that's still good) in my kitchen before I do more serious grocery shopping. Things like milk, cereal and creamer will be must purchases, because no coffee in the morning just isn't an option.
I feel like I need to punish myself for being so wasteful. So here goes Operation Cabinet Clean Out. And for day one: tonight I enjoyed some grits, leftover rice, and leftover roasted brussels sprouts. Awesome. Not.
