Little beach action

This past weekend I went down to the beach with the fam for the first weekend of their vacation. I don't get to take a week off, but I'll take what I can get. Temperatures in the 100s made it a little toasty, even for sitting on the beach, but if it's going to be that hot I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

 Heading over the bridge to the island. Love the feeling of knowing you're only minutes away.



I realized that a couple of my sorority sisters from college were only about 15 minutes away so I met up with them on Saturday. We went out on the boat, swam in the sound and had a few drinks while getting a little too much sun. It was such a random coincidence that we were all there and so close, but a nice treat after not seeing them for about 3 years.

Now I just need to get back there asap!
