Post-wedding wrap up

Wedding weekend was a whirlwind but very fun with some scary/interesting twists.

Saturday my friend and I got up early to head to Raleigh, with a few shopping pit stops on the way. We were able to get into the hotel room early to change and get pretty before the ceremony. Our little bride looked so tiny and gorgeous. Everything went perfectly and I think I loved the part when she practically yelled "I do" the most. Then there were a few hours in between the ceremony and reception that led to wine in the room and a quick run to a local bar before getting on the bus for the reception. The reception was so fun, I did a lot of dancing and twirling with the bride's little nephew.

The scary part of the weekend happened Sunday on the way back home. Luckily we were stopped, I was sitting in the car when a noticed smoke/steam coming from under the hood of my friend's car. I turned the car off. She opened the hood and noticed where the smoke was coming from - the coolant area. She then proceeded to take the top of the coolant container. Friends (especially ladies because somehow boys just inherently know things about cars and we didn't get that gene) do NOT ever do this. The thing was like a geyser spraying hot coolant everywhere. Luckily it didn't really get on her but it was terrifying. My brother and his friend saved the day and got us back home. In the end, everything was ok - except maybe her car - but definitely a lesson learned.

This week will be insane as I move out of my apartment before Thursday and my drive to Cincy for Kimmy's wedding!! Have to write my speech and will take any advice.
