Chicago - part deux (a little delayed)

So it's been 2 work weeks and I've been to DC since Chicago but I wanted to post a few more pictures from the end of my Chicago trip.

It rained allllll day Sunday so we laid around watching tv and reading blogs until we made an executive decision to face the rain and head downtown. So we got ready, bussed downtown, went in Zara and that was the end of that. The downpour didn't look like it was going to stop so we hopped back on the bus headed for home and ordered an obscene amount of delivery. At one point on the ride home the streets were so flooded the water started coming onto the bus through the doors. Even the bus driver was shocked.

Of course Monday was beautiful but I had to leave. Fuj put me in a cab and headed to work. Not going to lie I was a little nervous but figured I'm 28 years old. I should be able to navigate a cab and 1 L ride to the airport. The above picture was me checking in from State and Lake to make sure I was at the right stop for the Orange Line to Midway. So yeah, I dominated that trip to the airport.

I hated leaving but really loved my short little Chicago adventure.
