Pothole gardens

So I don't really like "borrowing" ideas from other blogs that I read, but after our recent winter storms and all the new potholes this looks like a great idea. After changing my route to work somedays just because of all the holes I have to dodge I would love if someone did this here.
Artist Pete Dungey plants flowers in the potholes around British roads. I guess in his spare time, when he's not taking 650 mile bike rides. I'm sorry what?! Anyway, I think this is a fantastic idea - if money were no object. I wonder how long it would take for the city to come fix the holes then.
