This year St. Patty's didn't really hold a candle to last year, but it was still a pretty good day. Nothing too crazy at work and a quick 3 hours of class, then I was able to stop by the ale house for a couple of beers. Last year there were so many of our friends out and an awesome band, accompanied by an Irish jig or 2 by my friend young Eleanor. Well this year there were only a few people out, but at least it was something to do. It never fails that St. Patrick's Day equals random free green stuff. Here's a little pic of Els in her random free green thing from last night. My apologies for the blurriness, it wasn't even that kind of a night, it was the Blackberry.
My celebration for the Day after will be going home to see my sister and brother-in-law, John. They live in Florida, so a random visit is always fun. I'll be delivering very belated birthday presents and at least one other treat to celebrate the biggest news our family has had in years.
