VA for Vicki

My trip to Virginia to see my mom and brother was really fun, and now seems like it was really long ago. Really just 2 weekends ago. Bennett and his girlfriend Valerie, those 2 cuties from the prom pic, met me at my apartment and I drove us the rest of the way to VA on Friday night. Luckily we got there in time to hit up mom's neighborhood Applebee's for one of the more awkward situations I've been a part of in a long time. A few drunk rednecks talking about more than a few inappropriate topics is super awkward. We ordered apps and I ordered a beer, not an overly demanding order I don't think. Well my beer showed up after the food and the food was cold. Bennett renamed a couple of things - warm cold beer, and cold hot wings. We ended that night with a trip to the Christiansburg Walmart. It doesn't get much better than that. The rest of the weekend was spent eating lots of food, shopping, watching the neighbors play beer pong and sleeping late. We don't go up to VA a lot because mom always comes home, but it was nice to just get out of town for a weekend and lay around the house with the fam. Well, part of the fam.
