Reasons I love living in the South include:
1. Feeling it is necessary to capitalize the "South".
2. My family is here, my friends are here. It's home to me.
3. We have better accents.
4. Sweet tea, banana pudding, deviled eggs, hushpuppies, and fried okra.
5. Snowed on Monday. And now I am enjoying my second jacket-free Friday in February.
6. Seersucker.
7. We have Memas, Papas, Poppas, Mamas, and Daddies. No matter how old you are.
8. The strict Memorial and Labor Days rules regarding white.
9. The only kind of Squash I know is the food. And that it's great fried.
10. Country music and college football.
11. Monograms.
12. Double names.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if I can really claim "that I'm from the South" (even though I do a lot of the times) but I love #4 and #12. And 7, 8, 10. Kind of hate #2 bc I'm not there :)
