Mill Mountain Zoo

While in VA my sister decided we should take a little road trip to Roanoke to a zoo. It was a pretty fun trip with great weather. The zoo was rather small, but M didn't care at all. He kept yelling "let's go" and running to the next exhibit. I'm not sure how many times he said "you hear it?" or "you see it?" talking about all the animals. So cute. This kid is smart too, he knows what all the animals are and can usually make the sound each one makes. After looking at all the animals we rode the mini train and hiked up to see the Roanoke Star. And then had lunch downtown Roanoke before wandering the streets and shops.

 This kid loves goats. His other grandparents have a farm with tons of goats that he loves to chase and yell at. Definitely not scared of them, that's for sure. He acted like he was feeding this one and I think he was confused as to why it was in a fence.
