St. Louieeee

I spent my MLK weekend in St. Louis with my best friends from college, and I must say it was long overdue. We realized we hadn’t all been together in over a year, which is just absurd. I am so lucky that these girls are still in my life and that when we’re all back together it’s like we still live together and see each other everyday. I don’t know how I would’ve survived the past few months without them, so needless to say, it was a great reunion! Here are a few highlights from the trip:

The ridiculously detailed itinerary Paige sent out

Hot guy at baggage claim

The Cupcakery – our obsession with it and P breaking traffic laws to make sure we made it before they closed

Anheuser-Busch brewery tour & tasting

The City Museum - this is getting its own post, please don’t think we actually went to a real museum for a cultural or educational purpose

Going to the top of the Arch – still wondering how Paige’s boyfriend managed to get us tickets up on the sold out time slot

Explosive penguins

And by far my favorite thing was being with my girls, seeing the city that lured Paige from the South and catching up on each other lives. Now that we’ve been to each of our current hometowns, I think our next reunion will be somewhere random and fun. We’ve discussed the idea of putting our money together in a CD or money market to use for future trips and reunions. What do you think? Ever done it or know anyone that has tried this with friends or family?
