Working at a university that starts school late and doesn't give us Labor Day pays off when it's time for Fall Break. That's right folks, I'm getting a random long weekend in the middle of October. And our president realizes how crazy this semester has been and is giving us Tuesday off too, just for fun and because he's nice. So what am I doing with my 4 days off you ask? Obviously I'm heading to Florida to see my sister and nephew, duh.
The agenda includes a pumpkin patch with the nugget, maybe some pumpkin carving, my sister wants me to cook for her, I want to sleep late, and helping her getting a little more settled in her new house. Oh and apparently I need to try the tacos at Jack in the Box. I'm so excited to get down there I may just have to leave work earlier than I originally intended to.
Cheers to a long weekend that includes 80+ temperatures in October.
